Darren and Carla from House of Colour won a silver and bronze medal for Team Ireland at the European Hair Championships. This is the third time in 5 years that House of Colour has won medals at this level, but the first time we have ever had 2 winners together at European level.

Paris was the venue for this year's European Hairdressing Championship competition. Team Ireland jetted off to compete with 75 other countries to see who would claim the winning medals.
House of Colour had 2 representatives on the Irish team, Darren from our Capel Street salon and Carla from Wellington Quay who were selected because of their winning looks at the Irish Hairdressing Championships. We also had Saffia competing in the doll head competition, which is highly competative and artistic. Darren and Carla's models were fantastic from start to finish and a special thanks to models Cerri, Sarah and Agnes who were on top form in the competition. the looks were very cutting edge and received a hige amount of attention from the 1000 spectators.

When judging had finished it was off to the auditorium where a crowd of 1500 packed in to hear the winners in each category announced. Team Ireland were big winners on the night, claiming a 4th place with Carla winning a bronze medal and Darren winning silver. Congratulations to Darren and Carla for such a fantastic result.
